In Side Out : Martin Cordiano

29 February - 6 April 2024 Ab-Anbar London

For his first exhibition at Ab-Anbar’s project space, Martin Cordiano’s new series of sculptures invites us to delve into the essence of space and its profound significance in our lives through his perplexing constructions. The place we inhabit and how we signify it is at the core of Cordiano’s practice. Here, the works offer a distinctive perspective on the interplay between our daily routines, encounters with others, and the surrounding environment during historically significant moments.

Though apparently simple on the surface, this body of work harbours complex implications and transcends traditional boundaries, not only of art and architecture but of the intricate relationships between them, the tangible world and societies.
